How to Participate in a NoRug IDO

Step 1: Connect Wallet & Buy $BILL

Once you’ve found an upcoming IDO you’d like to participate in, the next step is for you to get whitelisted, meaning your address will be eligible to participate in the IDO. Each project will have a bucket of addresses from which we will choose at random a smaller group of addresses to become whitelisted.

There are three ways to become eligible for whitelisting:

Hold $BILL in your wallet for a minimum of 7 days
Hold BILL/USDC liquidity provider tokens on Uniswap for a minimum of 7 days
Hold BILL/BNB liquidity provider tokens on PancakeSwap for a minimum of 7 days

*NoRug counts the TOTAL Amount of Tickets from both supported chains, Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain.

Example: You hold 50K $BILL on BSC & 50K $BILL on ETH, you bought them at the same time 7 days ago.
Your Total Tickets on NoRug: 10

$BILL Tickets

Any source of $BILL($BILL in wallet or LP tokens) counts towards your Total Tickets fore the pre-sale lottery. For every 10K $BILL (or LP Equivalent) you collect, you have one entry in the lottery for every whitelist you apply for.

So, if you have, for example, 50K $BILL, you will have 5 tickets to your name when you submit your address to be whitelisted. Because projects choose whitelisted addresses at random, the more tickets you have, the greater your chance of being selected.

$BILL can be combined on both Ethereum and BSC.

⚠️ NOTE: You’re not exchanging $BILL for tickets; the number of $BILL you own just represents “tickets” for the whitelisting process. You can only win once in every lottery, and more tickets equals higher chances of winning.

NoRug Tiers

To further incentivize holding and staking the $BILL Token, not only do you receive tickets for every 10K $BILL you accumulate, but you also get some other perks. We have 3 different NoRug tiers as outlined below.

10K+ $BILL = Shrimp— Notified 30 Minutes After Launch
100K+ $BILL = Shark —Notified as a Project Launches
1 Million+ $BILL= Whale —Notified 1 Hour Before Launch

⚠️ NOTE: All $BILL, held in your wallet, as well as LP tokens, are combined from both, Ethereum and BSC, into one $BILL balance.

Providing Liquidity

If you provide liquidity to the BILL-USDC pool on Uniswap or on BILL-BNB on PancakeSwap, your LP tokens will also be counted towards your overall $BILL Balance. Each 0.01 USDC-BILL LP token is the equivalent of 10K $BILL.

Each BILL-BNB LP token is the equivalent of 1K $BILL.

⚠️ NOTE: Because of how LP Works, we may increase/decrease this number to incentivize more liquidity on either pancake or uniswap.

FAQ

➡️ Can I hold LPs and $BILL combined? Yes! As long as your $BILL and your LP tokens are in the same wallet (even across chains), they will each generate tickets to increase your chances of successful whitelisting.

Do I have to whitelist for each separate project? Is there a universal NoRug whitelist? Yes, you have to get whitelisted for each separate project’s IDO.

If I want to participate with a BSC wallet but have my $BILL on Ethereum, is that possible? Yes, you can hold $BILL on either your Ethereum or BSC wallet and participate in any sale on NoRug (if you are whitelisted).

Two more important things to note about $BILL, tickets, and whitelists!

1) You’re not exchanging $BILL for tickets; the amount of $BILL you own just represents “tickets” for the whitelisting process.
2) Each address can only be selected once for a project whitelist (i.e. you can’t get double your allocation if your address is drawn twice, the duplicate just won’t count)
This is to ensure that as many holders can benefit!
